Happy Thursday! Sorry I have been MIA, life got a little crazy for a bit.

I am so excited for todays post because I am wearing pieces from Julio Designs again and this jewelry just makes me happy! I have recently started getting into hoop earrings and when I saw these I became obsessed. They are so dainty and light and literally can be worn with anything. They come in both gold and silver AND are only $22! I am also a big fan of stone jewelry, as i’ve mentioned before. This necklace gives me all of the boho vibes. You can wear it two different ways, the style shown above and also a choker style. There is really so much you can do with this set, so keep a look out for it, it will be coming up on the blog again soon!

I have such a hard time finding jeans to wear. Anyone else? My problem is that my waist is so little and my hip/thigh area is so big. I recently gave Loft jeans a try and will probably never buy from anywhere else. They really fit like a dream. And that bottom detail, HELLO! They are on sale right now for 40% off along with my tank. So run, don’t walk 😉

Happy Wednesday!

It fees like South Florida is getting hotter and hotter everyday. I always say I would never live anywhere else.. Until this time of year rolls around and I am reminded that I can’t even walk to the mailbox without dripping sweat. At this point, if I could wear a bathing suit everyday, I would. Yesterday it was 90 degrees. And it’s not even summer yet. YAY! *rolls eyes*. But, since bathing suits are not an acceptable form of clothing to wear every single day, I have been living in dresses. I am such a sucker for anything off the shoulder. But, it was the button detail on this dress sold me! It is so light and airy and It’s under $50! Anytime I can score a great dress that can be worn so many ways under $50, it’s a good day. Also, I haven’t had a “name necklace” since like elementary school. No joke. I have always stuck to monograms. I was so excited to receive this one in the mail, I am really digging it! Glad they are making a comeback.

I love jewelry. Especially unique pieces! I recently discovered Julio Designs and instantly fell in love. They are handmade pieces, made in Texas. This bracelet set, necklace and earrings were worn to Sunday brunch over the weekend and I got so many compliments. The stones are gorgeous and the metals are two toned. Both Silver and gold, which is my favorite. Whenever I find pieces with both gold and silver I have to snatch them up! There are so many ways this set can be worn. Keep a lookout for other ways I style them!

Floral Midi Dress

Dress not online, similar here and here // Gucci Disco Bag // Sunglasses // Wedges // Bangle Set // Necklace

Finally home and recouping after being at our lake house for the long weekend. Had so much fun hanging out with family, eating too much food and spending every day in the pool. I love vacations, but I also love my routine. I don’t like being out of my routine for too long, so I am glad to be back home! Mostly glad to be back in town where the mall is. Kidding. Kind of. (hehe).

I was never really a fan of midi dresses. Not being super tall, I felt like they always looked awkward on me. While shopping last week I saw this dress and decided to try it on. I instantly fell in love. This is probably my favorite spring dress. All of the heart eyes for the floral and stripe combo! Unfortunately, I could not find it online, but I did link some similar options. If you’re near a Nordstrom, run! It’s under $100. If you’re on the hunt for new wedges, I can’t express to you how amazing these ones are. I wear them ALL. OF. THE. TIME. I just recently got this color after ordering the white ones and now I want the black ones. LOL. I am not lying when I say they are the comfiest heeled sandal I own! When I saw my pink feathered friends, I just had to stop and take some photos with them 😉

Mexico Vacation Recap

Two Piece Set // Prada Sunglasses // Monogram Necklace // White Wedge Sandals // Statement Earrings //

Straw Pom Pom Tote

When you’re so short you have to wear wedges with everything. LOL! All joking aside, I am in looove with this two piece set (under $100). It was the first thing I packed for our trip to Mexico. And will be the first thing I pack for every vacation for a while!

We stayed at the BlueBay Grand Esmeralda, an all inclusive resort. It was a really good experience.

Food:

The food was so great! They had a ton of options to choose from. My favorite restaurant was right by the pool and beach (beautiful views). They had a great breakfast buffet that turned into a steakhouse at night. We didn’t get to eat at every restaurant, unfortunately. But we did get a chance to try the oriental one, which was amazing. Very very good. I was iffy at first, but i’m glad we decided to try it one night for dinner. And of course we ate at the Mexican restaurant! No complaints there either, it was also amazing.

Pool & Beach:

The pool was huge, so we never felt crowded. My favorite part was the lounge chairs in the pool! The beach wasn’t the nicest beach I have ever been to. SO much seaweed. Personally, I did not step foot in the water, it did not look appealing.

Room:

We upgraded our room when we got to the resort. We got a suite with the jacuzzi on the balcony. Was it worth it? Ehh. The room itself was very nice and clean but the jacuzzi part.. so small. It was just not what we were expecting. Tyler and I both had a hard time fitting in it together. Definitely a one person jacuzzi.

We booked a day trip to Xel-Ha on Saturday. It was so much fun, best decision we made during the trip for sure. If you ever visit the area and have time, I would 100% recommend it. They have so much to do. All food and drinks are included! We also opted in for the trip to Tulum. That part I would not recommend. It was a long and kind of a boring tour. Not for us.

Today I am sharing a super great, simple Memorial Day look. This tank top is currently on sale for 40% off! Comes in three colors and is perfect for summertime! It would also look great with jeans and a pair of wedges. I decided to pair the navy with my red slide sandals since Memorial Day is approaching. This will most likely be what I am wearing to our family BBQ we have every year. These shorts are my go-to denim shorts. They are under $50 and the most comfortable.

Wheels up! We’re off to Mexico!

Every year for our anniversary we pick a place and go on a trip to treat ourselves. An adult trip. It’s nice to get away for some alone time once a year. And every year I sob the whole way to our destination. It is hard leaving Aubrey behind, whether it’s for one day, two days or four days! I spend every single day at home with her, we have a routine. I sometimes feel so guilty leaving her but then I remember that I am aloud to have a small break sometimes. Honestly, most of the time I feel guilty going to the nail salon for an hour. Any other mommas get like that? I don’t know why, just a mom thing I guess. Being a mom is the best job, a hard one (toddler life), but the BEST one.

This year, two of our best friends are joining us on our trip. SO excited about that. We are staying at the Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda. I will be writing a whole review on the resort next week when we get back home. In the meantime, be sure to follow along on Instagram and Snapchat! We have only been to Mexico once before to a small island called Isla Mujeres. And we didn’t stay at a resort. So I am excited to see Mexico in a new way!

This tee is currently on sale for under $10! My favorite travel tee. I won’t wear it with a skirt to the airport, I’ll for sure be in shorts or jeans. I’m not that extra (LOL). But I wanted to show that this skirt could be paired with so many options. A tee shirt tied a knot, a tee tucked in, a tank top tucked in, crop tops, even a long sleeve! It comes in three colors and I am obsessed! I have to wear it with heels because I am only 5’3 and everything is sooo long on me. But this would be great worn with sandals if you’re taller. The best part? It’s under $50!!

Casual on Worth Ave.

Tank Shift Dress // Studded Aviator Sunglasses // Gold Hoop Earrings // Cuff Bracelet // Tory Burch Miller Sandals // Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis Bag

The best days are the ones when I have nothing planned. Yesterday I decided to throw my hair up in a bun and get some shopping done. We leave for our anniversary trip tomorrow, so I needed a few more things to take along. A day shopping on Worth is always a great day. I wore this super comfy tank shift dress, it’s a soft stretchy material. Feels like you’re wearing nothing! Which is nice for hot Florida Weather. It is available in a ton of great colors and it is under $60!

Kendra Scott Color Bar Party

Tropical Print Jumpsuit // Red Long Pendant Necklace // Lipstick (Color: Ma’Damn) // Red Sandals // Mix Metal Bangle Set // Gucci Disco Bag

Thursday I hosted a Color Bar party at Kendra Scott as a little birthday celebration with my girl friends. Who doesn’t love jewelry and champagne?! Kendra Scott always puts on the best little events. They had my favorite cookies out when I got there and also some cupcakes! I love the color bar feature because you can create your own pieces. I decided to create earrings, the Sheila Earrings to be exact. I chose rose gold for the metal, I find myself buying more and more rose gold jewelry lately. For the top stone I chose a coral color for summer and the bottom stones I went with the iridescent drusy. These earrings are now my new favorites. They are photoed above and as you can see, they are gorgeous. If you’re looking for a new statement earring, these are great!

Now lets talk about this jumpsuit. This was so far out of my comfort zone but when I saw it online I knew it had potential and I knew exactly what accessories I would pair with it. So I went for it and I am so glad I did. The light blue and red make the perfect pair. This jumpsuit also comes in green and its under $40!!
